Living in Summerlin

One of the outstanding features of Summerlin is the 5,000 acres of land that serve as a buffer between the community and Red Rock Canyon, protecting the area from future development. The conservation area gives residents plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities while providing the community with a majestic backdrop.

Summerlin is considered the “perfect” master planned community, with the right balance of land use for residential, commercial and conservation purposes. It’s the only Southern Nevada community with its own downtown. It boasts top-rated schools, luxury homes, and business parks, making it a family-friendly live-work community.

Summerlin is also home to excellent healthcare facilities, including the over 500,000 acres Summerlin Hospital Medical Center. This is one of the factors that make the community an excellent choice for retirees.

On top of that, the recreational opportunities in Summerlin are unparalleled. They include world-class shopping and dining, resort hotels, excellent golf courses, a wealth of parks, and outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and rock climbing.
